On Thursday, October 19, Ms. Aguirre was recognized at the Santa Clara County After School Collaborative's Breakfast of Champions with the following statement: "Julie Aguirre is a true champion at heart! Ms. Aguirre's dedication to our scholars is astounding. Every opportunity Ms. Aguirre has to collaborate for the best interest of our youth she is there. There is no doubt that without Ms. Aguirre's support, programming would most definitely not be the success it is!"
