Our 5th grade classes took the VTA to Downtown San Jose last week to explore the Tech Museum.  They had the privilege of having the IMAX theater to themselves to watch "Under the Sea" and learn about the lives of deep sea creatures and the impact we humans have on their lives.  They really enjoyed this opportunity.  The students were also allowed to participate in a lab experience, called "Innovations in Chemistry".  They completed a periodic table scavenger hunt and conducted a couple experiments where chemical reactions occurred.  The students had a small amount of time to explore the full museum
