5th Grade

Welcome to fifth grade!  We are really excited to work together as a team to support your student’s learning.  Students will learn to become independent thinkers and be accountable for their actions.  Some of the big ideas in language arts are synthesizing information from multiple sources, producing clear writing and conducting research.  Additionally, in math, we will work on understanding place value, analyzing relationships and performing multi-digit operations.  We will also dive into science and social studies.  This should be a year full of adventures and learning.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us, call us, or stop by our classrooms (J-7 and J-8).
