McKinley parents have been working hard through out the course of the year in the English as a Second Language program. Provided by CORAL, a program of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, parents have participated in classes one to two times per week to improve their English speaking and writing skills. By improving on their English speaking and writing skills, parents are better equipped to support their children academically and communicate with McKinley staff.

"We are extremely proud of the progress these parents have made," stated Ms. Lopez, CORAL Program Site Manager. " We look forward to continuing our work with them in the fall and expanding our program to more parents."
