The Campus Collaborative, a partnership between teachers and community members invested in building up the McKinley School community, hosted their first ever Family Resource Night. It was an amazing night filled with fun and useful information for our students and their families.
Sacred Heart, Bill Wilson Center, Fair Housing Center, Catholic Charities, Behavioral Health Services Department Santa Clara, PACT, Kara Grief Support, San Jose Library, Migrant Education, Breathe California, CommUniverCity, and Playworks were invited to share about their services and ways they could support the families. Families that visited with multiple providers earned a free backpack.
Students were able to visit with friends and teachers volunteered their time for face painting and popsicle sales. It was a wonderful evening!
