Dia de Los Ninos
Students, parents, and staff celebrated Dia de Los Ninos by discussing the history of this special day.
Students learned why and how the day is celebrated in Mexico.
Afterwards they had an opportunity to break pinatas and eat the delicious candies provided by the parents.
Cinco de Mayo (Staff Appreciation)
Parents from the Cuentos Literacy Class shared history, tradition, and culture from their own pueblos.
They shared typical food(s) and cultural artifacts from their town in Mexico with students and teachers.
