Science Camp Adventures

Earlier this month, our sixth grade students spent the week at Camp Campbell for a week of outdoor education. Throughout this week, our students experienced hands on science that is only available out in the woods with the leadership of experienced naturalists and counselors. Our students learned the importance of hard work, perseverance, and the rewards that come with serving others. There were many activities such as hiking, gardening, nature walks, night hikes, and even holding snakes that will be memories for our students to be able to look back fondly upon. All of students even participated in skits that they performed in front of 3 other schools! Some of the chosen activities that were picked by our sixth graders were archery, low ropes, and snake feeding. Everyone had a fantastic time and was tearful to leave. We are all looking forward to sharing this experience with our in coming sixth graders next year!
